Cruise To Cabo San Lucas!

Curtis really wanted to surprise me in Vegas with the tickets for the cruise...but then he thought about what I would want to pack...and having to go buy the things I didn't have...so he decided to surprise me before we left...which was a good idea on his part.  I still got surprised, and I got to plan and pack what I needed for the trip.  :)  It seriously was the PERFECT all around week.  We had so much fun every night.  We definitely made use of the 24-hour soft serve ice cream machine :)  So yummy!!
Curtis went crazy in the audience and got chosen to go on stage for this game show thing.  Oh my gosh...he was hilarious.  He ended up winning and his prize was a bottle of wine...so he switched the second place girl for a painting  :)

This is us at dinner.  You sit at the same table every night, which was cool because we got to know the people that were sitting with us pretty well.
So...we went from a 1200 sq ft room in Vegas to a 150 sq ft room on the ship.  When we walked in there was only a twin bed and another twin bed that you could pull down like bunk beds...we were like ummm...not so much.  So we wheeled in another twin bed and pushed them together.  The maid put king sheets on it...so it wasn't too bad  :)
Every day the maid created different animals out of our towels.  It was pretty neat.
This is a picture from our boat of Cabo!
This is a picture from Cabo of our cruise ship.  It's huge!
You can see the ship in the background.  We had to take a smaller boat from the ship to shore.
My friend Amber recommend going to Mango Deck for the day.  Curtis and I just walked around town for a while and accidentally found it.  Kinda funny!
Here's me cooling off.  It was SO hot...and the water was warm too.
The only thing bad about Cabo is all the people walking around trying to sell you stuff.  It seriously is like a conveyer belt of people with the same stuff trying to sell it to you over and over again.  Even little kids are out there trying to sell you gum for a dollar.  Other than that I loved it.  It was a lot of fun...and felt good breaking up the trip and being able to get off the boat.  I really wanted to go parasailing...but it was pretty expensive...and we both just wanted to see what Mexica was like...so we just ended up walking around and having fun on the beach.
Can't really see Curtis too well haha... (just the white shirt and his teeth).  The ship is pretty dark at night...
Here's us at a hypnotist show.  It was kinda lame...but the comedy show the next night was hilarious!
One of my dad's best friends Johnny Dixon and his family were on the same cruise.  Random!  He actually took pictures for me at my wedding and his wife did my make-up.  The lady that did my hair was also on the cruise.  Crazy!  It was fun to see all of them!
Here's us the last night by the casino.  I think the lady in the background just won haha..  The cruise was so fun!!  Curtis did a GREAT job with this anniversary.  One of my favorite things about it was that we couldn't use our cell phones, or computers, no work, no school, no homework...JUST US the entire time!  It was absolutely PERFECT!!  Thank you so much babe!!  I love you!!!

Happy Two Years To Kim And Curtis!

Two years!!  I can't believe it's already been two years.  :)  So...Curtis is not the best planner or surpriser...but he sure did a FANTASTIC job with our two year anniversary.  He had to work down in St. George that week so he wanted me to go down with him since I didn't have any classes.  I thought..oh cool...St. George will be a fun place to spend our anniversary...somewhere different than good ol' Provo.  So we got down there on the 11th and just went to dinner and hung out with my cousin Desiree and Zeek.  The next day Curtis went to work and I just hung out in the hotel and got ready.  When he got back at about 3:oopm he told me to pack our bags because we were leaving.  (Surprise #1) We drove down to Las Vegas!!  He had planned to stay the night at the Planet Hollywood.  (Surprise #2)  When we got there the lady at the front desk upgraded our room and extra $400 to the Roger Clemens panorama room.  Can you say AMAZING!?!  1200 sq ft and an amazing view!!   He made reservations a few weeks ago at the restaurant on top of the Stratosphere.  (Surprise #3)  One time when we were dating we went to Vegas and really wanted to go to that restaurant but we didn't know you had to make reservations that far in advance...so it was perfect for our anniversary.  The food was extremely expensive and not the best, but the view was perfect.  :)  We probably won't ever go back, but it was still a fun experience.  The next day we drove to San Diego to go on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas!!!!  Just one more surprise Curtis pulled off!!  :)  (Surprise #4)
This is what I woke up to at the hotel on our anniversary!!  Curtis put them in front of the door, knocked and ran.  Haha...  I thought the maid left them there.

My favorite part of the room!...well the tub and the view :)

The room was absolutely amazing!!  It was filled with Roger Clemens memorabilia.  (Mitch...you would have loved it!)

Here's us "On Top Of The World" (that's the name of the restaurant)

It was kinda windy up there :)
Amazing view from our room!!!!
On our way to San Diego we stopped at the state line and road the roller coaster!  :)  We have never been on a roller coaster together.  Curtis is kind of scared of heights...oh my gosh...it was HILARIOUS!!  He was holding onto my arm so tight and I marks from his wristband when we got off.  He was screaming like a little girl the entire two and a half minutes.  The teenage girls in front of us kept looking back and laughing.  It was SO funny!!  I wish I had a video camera.

I Got An A!

My Human Anatomy class is FINALLY over!  I have never worked so hard in one class in my entire life!  This class is broken up into a lecture and a lab portion.  You have quizzes, a midterm, and a final in each part.  These are my note cards for my lecture final...hahaha...  I think I get more out of making the note cards than actually studying them.  I accidentally left these note cards in my classroom the night before the final.  So Curtis and I went to UVU campus at 11:00pm and everything was locked.  We had to search for security to let us in and open up my classroom door just to get these freakin' note cards so I could study a little longer :)  Everything worked out though because I got an A in the class!!  I was so excited to see that my work had paid off.

Floatin' Down The River!

Curtis, Kim, Juli, and Zac getting ready to float down the Provo river!!
K...No one told me the river was going to be ABSOLUTELY FREEZING!!!  It was colder than refrigerator water!!  My feet were frozen for hours haha...  It was a lot of fun though  :)  Great friends...tons of laughs...floating in inner tubes...has to be fun!  The only BAD thing that happened was Curtis lost his wedding ring in the river.  He fell out of his tube and when he got back in his ring was gone.  :(  So sad!  I think the freezing water made his fingers skinny and it fell off.  :(
Here is Zac falling out of his tube for the 7th time :)

Bowling!

Curtis, Kim, Marissa, & Spencer...going bowling!
Kim & Marissa before putting on those sick bowling shoes.  We forgot socks so we wrapped our feet in paper towels haha...

I swear that scooter thing helped him bowl better :)
Look at that pro bowler...yea right!
