Maternity-ish Pics

My friend Lauren - Perrywinkle Photography - offered to take some "maternity photos" for us!  She did such an amazing job and captured just what I was looking for!
Tyler, Jamie, Kim, and Curtis!
Love them.
If I had a Christmas card - I would have used this photo.
Just pretend you got one in the mail :)
I love this one too.
This is our "Sister Wives" awkward picture haha  :)  I like the whole wrapped "gift" idea tho.
Daddy & Mommy to be.  How crazy is that?!
I'm so glad it snowed the night before.  The backyard was gorgeous!
Thank you SOOOOO much Lauren!  We absolutely LOVE all the pictures!
PS. Gender reveal pics to come!!!

Accutane

I took the plunge.  I went to the dermatologist again and discussed the option of Accutane.  I asked him what he would do if he was me.  He said he would recommend doing a low dose Accutane - 40mg every other day - and see how it goes.  The low dose has less side effects and works over a longer course.  I have been on different creams, antibiotics (Minocycline), birth control, etc and my skin still freaks out when I do fertility treatments.  It usually semi-clears up over time, but never goes back to "normal".
I have never been scared to get pregnant - until now.  This box made is CLEAR not to get pregnant while taking Accutane.  It's written EVERYWHERE on the box.

And if you can't read - there are little prego women crossed out when you pop out each pill.

You have to take a PLEDGE to use 2 forms birth control.  I asked if 6 failed cycles of invitro worked as one form.  They said no.
I've been on it for about 2 weeks now.  My skin is pretty dry and I've already had 3 nose bleeds. I haven't had a bloody nose in forever!  The Dr. said it's pretty common since your skin is getting so dry. I took before pics...so we'll see how it goes.

Babysitting The Cutest Kids On The Block

My poor little nephew Alex had to have his appendix removed a couple weeks ago.  It ended up being perforated - so he had to stay at Primary Children's for 5 days.  Poor guy.  I got to hang out with the rest of the kids all week!  :)
Alex - right out of surgery.
Dinner from Kim = Costco pizza and ice cream :)
Tyler and Jamie have an annual neighborhood party.  Instead of neighbor gifts, everyone brings gift cards to donate to Primary Children's.  The party was the same night Alex had his surgery.   How ironic right?  Such a cool idea!!
Prayers with the kiddos - how cute is Esther with her arms folded?!
This little stink got to stay up later than everyone else so she could say goodnight to her mom :)
The next day I got to hang out with Esther.  We made a little trip to the park!
Alex was starting to feel a little better.  I hung out with him at Primary Children's so Tyler and Jamie could have a little break and go to Tyler's work Christmas party  :)  I think we watched Spiderman 3 three times.  He can recite the entire movie.  It's hilarious.  He even sings along with MJ and claps after she is finished performing.  Cutest thing ever!
The next day these two got to come down to Orem and spend the night with me!  We had a blast.  :)  First we had milkshakes and hit up RedBox.
Trying on some cute shades.  Drew with his mustache.
I love the upper pic of Olivia.  She looks just like her mom.
Wendy's in the car - then off to see The Odd Life Of Timothy Green with the LaPrays!  Super cute.
Dinner at Ihop!  I promised Drew he could have Panda Express for dinner...but then forgot to get it for him.  He definitely didn't forget - so we went there afterwards :)  He ate every single bite.
I LOVE these kids SO much it's crazy!

Team Babies - 16 Weeks 4 Days

We had our 16.5 week appointment yesterday!  I think it was the longest appointment so far.  They measured/monitored EVERYTHING - head, chorion, ventricles, femur, arms, bladder, kidneys, umbilical cords, spine, etc. TIMES THREE!  I loved every minute, especially when the ultrasound tech would say things looked great.  :)  The babies are all growing well - weighing in at approximately 6 oz. each.  They are all measuring the same - which is GREAT!  They monitor the identicals really closely to make sure one isn't taking all the nutrients and getting too big while the other one gets shafted and stops growing.  Jamie says she is feeling great right now - perfect timing for the holidays!  Her baby bump is adorable.
Baby A
Baby B
Baby C
Can they get any cuter??
WHAT ARE YOUR GUESSES ON GENDERS??
Sausage fest? Estrogen party? Or a mixture of both?

Hawaii 2012

A few months ago we realized Kenny's LAST football game of his college career was in Oahu, Hawaii.  We decided we were going to go support him - and also have a nice little vacation.  I almost talked myself out of going to save money - but then realized that after March/April (when these babies come) we weren't going to take a vacation in a LONG time.  So we went.  And enjoyed every minute! We flew out the day after Thanksgiving.  Beware of picture overload:
Our cute little condo two blocks away from the beach. Cute. Cheap. Perfect.
View from the condo. The pink hotel is where my cousin Lieren works :)
Yep - they have Spam singles.  I almost had a midnight snack.  Not.
I love the beach!

Downtown parade.

Curtis HATES heights. So we stayed on the 21st floor :)
UNLV vs. Hawaii
UNLV lost bad, but Kenny played well, so that's all that matters.

We went to church with my cousin Lieren.  They meet in the tabernacle. It was a beautiful building!  We went to lunch with them afterwards.
.love him.
Uncle Lorin, Lieren, & Chandler

I LOVED hanging out with Lieren and Chandler!  We miss them SO much.

Curtis and I took a Sunday hike up Manoa Falls.  It was more like a dribble.

Night stroll on the beach!

Lieren recommended going to Lanikai Beach.  It was gorgeous and the sand was SO soft, but it was a pretty windy day, so we left early.

That same day we hiked up Maunawili Falls.  We got lost on the way up.  Curtis swore he would never hike again haha.  They said it was a beginner hike but my legs were killing me afterwards!  :)  I would definitely recommend the hike. It was really pretty all the way up.

There's a waterfall at the end that you can jump off.  FREEZING cold water.  Curtis wouldn't do it.
Smiazu shaved ice. Delicious!  We got 1/2 rootbeer float 1/2 creme brulee.
Dinner at Ihop.  They have the BEST harvest grain pancakes.  My absolute fav!
I hiked Maunawili Falls in flip flops.  My feet were tore up afterwards, so we went and got pedicures :)
Not really sure :)

Waikiki Beach!

Curtis was playing with my camera.

I already wanna go back.
I think every single person in Waikiki took pictures by this Christmas Tree.  So we needed one too.

Burger King has the BEST ice cream EVER.  I think we went there almost every night :)
Flying back home.  :(
Best travel partner ever.  I think he was asleep before we ever took off.

I miss this boy!
