Merry Christmas

::MERRY CHRISTMAS::
Love, The Browns

8 Months

(LATE POST)
Our babies are just getting cuter and cuter.  Their little personalities are coming out more and we love it.     They all laugh and smile all day.  They seem to be the happiest babies.  How did we get so lucky?   They are starting to eat baby food a lot better.  They love all fruits, squash, sweet potatoes…pretty much anything except peas.

They had their first encounter with sickness over Thanksgiving weekend.  It was the saddest thing.  Projectile vomiting, explosive diarrhea, blowouts, outfit change after outfit change, etc.  It was horrible. Poor things.

::CRUZ::
Clothes - 9 month
Diapers - Size 3
Cruz is just the happiest baby.  Once you make eye contact with him he gets the biggest smile across his face.  He lights up when he sees my camera.  The second I pull it out he puts on a show and smiles for days.  It's the cutest thing.  He still loves his ring finger on his left hand.  I can't believe both boys suck their ring fingers.  Too funny.  When he gets tired he becomes the most cuddly baby.  He loves to just lay on my shoulder and suck his finger.  Cruz finally figured out how to roll from back to belly and now rolls all over the pace.

::KASH::
Clothes - 9 month
Diapers - Size 3
Mr. Kash is such a sweetheart.  Both boys hate loud noises.  If Tyson barks or Julie starts screaming, they both start crying.  They seem so tender.  He still loves his ring finger on his right hand.  His laugh is to die for.  He has the sweetest little giggle.  Kash now has his two bottom teeth - first came his right, then his left.

::JULIE::
Clothes - 9 month
Diapers - Size 3
Julie is a pretty easy going baby.  She still loves her thumb and to have a blanket nearby.  She is starting to laugh a lot more.  She is so curious and grabs anything in sight.  She is so content and loves to just lay on the floor and roll around.  She can get almost anything she wants by just rolling to get it.  Julie's leg rolls are growing for days.  We love her squishiness.

Turkey Day

We definitely had an eventful Thanksgiving this year.  Full of projectile vomiting and extreme blow-outs.  My poor babies got sick for the first time.

We drove down to Lancaster, CA this year to spend Thanksgiving with my brother Mitch's family.  My parents met us there for the weekend.  Curtis' family lives 8 miles away from my brother, so they decided to join us as well.  :)

We got there on Wednesday afternoon and all seemed great.  The next morning we were feeding the babies and Kash vomited all over the couch and floor.  Awesome right?  (Thank goodness Mitch and Jill are awesome and weren't mad at us).  They haven't done the whole projectile vomiting for a few months, so I thought that was weird.  Then a few minutes later Julie threw up everywhere - which she never does - so I knew something was wrong.  A few minutes later Cruz threw up as well.  It's crazy how fast it passed to all three of them.  They were all still happy as can be.  A few hours later we tried to feed them again…and all three threw up again.  Curtis tried to put Julie on his shoulder to burp her, and before she got there she threw up all down the front of his shirt and shorts.   It was quite funny.

Over the next few hours they got pretty lethargic.  They were still happy since they were all being held by someone.  Thanksgiving night I got super sick too.  I felt like I was going to throw up all night and finally did - over and over again.  Super fun.  The next day my brother Mitch and Curtis' brother Kenny were throwing up too.  Crazy!  The babies were still throwing up and having major blow-outs Friday and Saturday, so we decided to drive home Saturday morning so they could be home in their own cribs and back to our routine.  They are finally keeping their bottles down today.  Still fussy and tired, but at least on the up and up.  Having 3 sick babies is extremely hard when you are outnumbered.  You just want to hold all of them, but there is always one baby who is on the floor or in a swing wanting to be held.
I hurried and put them in their cute outfits and took a picture.  Julie threw up down the front of her dress before I could snap this picture, but you can't really tell.  Cruz threw up shortly after, so they lasted all of 15 minutes in these outfits, but oh well.

My poor sick girl.
Kash and his ring finger.  Too cute.  Cruz sucks his ring finger now too.  So funny.  I can't believe they both love their ring fingers.  So weird.

The Thanksgiving spread.  Yum!!

She grabs my hair and sucks her thumb.

The next morning we woke up to three horrible blow-outs.  HORRIBLE!!
Saying goodbye.
Goodbye kisses.
I found this cute note in my purse from my nephew Derek.  How adorable!

We have SO much to be thankful for.  It's incredible really - all the things we have been blessed with this past year.  Most of all we are so thankful for an incredible sister-in-law, Jamie, who has sacrificed so much to give us an amazing family.  These three little stinkers are our whole life.  They bring so much joy and happiness into our house.  We are SOOOOOO thankful for them!!!

Run With The Bulls

Curtis' company had a competition to see who could increase their sales the most over the past 6 months.  The winners got the opportunity to run around a warehouse for two minutes and get anything they wanted.  Well, Curtis ended up winning!  It was crazy.  His company flew us to Minnesota (where the warehouse was) for two days.  We stayed at the W hotel downtown.  It was SO nice.  We were completely spoiled all weekend.
 When we showed up to the warehouse they had cheerleaders outside.  Everyone was cheering and clapping.  It was cool for Curtis to be recognized and they all seemed so proud of the winners.
 The warehouse reminded me of Costco but like half the size.  They had over 3,000 different items to choose from.  A lot of electronics, kitchen stuff, Coach purses, etc.  They gave us 10 minutes to walk around and stake out the items that we were interested in.

 Two people got to run around the warehouse at a time.

 Curtis cleaned up!  It was so exciting/crazy.  You got a cart to push around and fill up.  If your cart was full, they'd give you another cart.  Curtis ended up using 3 carts.  If items fell off your cart, they still counted them as yours, so Curtis was just throwing things on his cart and didn't even care if they were all falling off haha..  It was so funny to watch.  After he went they made a new rule that you had to at least attempt to keep the items on your cart.  :)  They also had staff members help you out and point out different hot pick items.  This girl asked Curtis what he had his eye on prior to running.  He said he wanted the 50 inch TV, camera, DVD player for his car, etc.  She helped point out all the things he was looking for.  He would have forgot about the DVD player if it wasn't for her pointing it out as he passed it by.
 He was SO winded after the two minutes were up.
 That night his company let us go anywhere we wanted for dinner.  We ended up going to this place called Coyote Ranch at the Mall of America.  Super yummy!   It was such a great weekend.  One of a kind for sure.  I'm so grateful that my mom and dad could come watch our babies for us.  I wouldn't have been able to leave without knowing they were in good hands.  I missed them like crazy, but it was a great getaway for Curtis and me.
We also had two of the BEST babysitters come help out Saturday night.  They sure love our babies.  Too cute!

7 Months

Wow, another month down.  7 months old.  They are getting so fun.  They smile, laugh and interact so much now.  They still love their exersaucers and are starting to really love toys.  Their favorites right now are their Sophie, football, and little Nuby teething rings.  They also love anything that makes noise.  They are enthralled with the crinkling noise the bag of wipes makes when they get their little hands on it.  They have developed a liking for my hair.  It seems like every time I am holding or feeding them they grab and pull my hair with their clammy little hands (especially the boys).

Ever since the time change, we have started putting them to bed at 7pm and they wake up about 7:15am.  They still take 3 naps a day and drink 5 bottles.  I'm hoping to transition to 2 longer naps soon and only 4 bottles and more baby food, but they aren't quite ready for that yet.  I started introducing baby food last month and they are getting better at eating.  They used to just spit it out, or let it sit in their mouths not knowing what to do with it.  Now they actually open their mouths for bites (most of the time) and swallow it.  They love all fruits, squash, and sweet potatoes. They detest peas and carrots.

They all LOVE being in the stroller and going for walks.  If there is ever a time where they are really fussy/needy, I strap them in the stroller and walk around our neighborhood and they don't make a peep.  It's my saving grace.  I don't know what I would do without my stroller.  It's worth every penny!  I have also started venturing out on my own since my mom no longer comes over consistently to help me.  Since they love being in the stroller so much, I can get out of the house and go to Target or Costco and just walk around.  Not much shopping happens (since I can't really push a stroller and a cart at the same time), but at least I know I can get out of the house on my own.  The babies are happy getting out and it also brings me some sanity.  I've never been much of a home body, so I am loving the new independence!

::CRUZ::
Weight - 18 lb 11 oz
Clothes - 6-9 months and 9 months
Diapers - Size 3
Cruz is my little cuddle bug, especially when he's tired.  I love when he just rests his head on my shoulder and holds onto my shirt.  He's gotten a little more demanding lately and doesn't like to wait to be fed.  He hasn't figured out how to roll from back to tummy yet, which is surprising because he seems like the strongest out of the three.  Cruz loves being in his exersaucer and to jump around.  The binkie is pretty much done now.  I forget to bring it places and he doesn't get it at night anymore.  He is still as smiley as ever and loves to be talked to.  He laughs out loud when we lift him in the air or play peek-a -boo with him.  Cruz is the first to get teeth!  His bottom two are coming in.  He also found his tongue and sticks it in and out like a lizard.  I love it.

::KASH::
Weight - 18 lb 12 oz
Clothes - 6-9 months and 9 months
Diapers - Size 3
Kash is Mr Laughable.  His giggle is to die for.  He laughs when I play peek-a-boo with him, make funny noises, throw him in the air, or even just talk to him.  Oh it's the cutest thing.  He still sucks his ring finger at night or when he's tired.  He's over the binkie now.  He loves being in the exersaucer or just on the floor with some toys near by.  He loves to grab anything in sight - which occasionally is Julie's hair.  Poor thing.  Kash is still pretty easy going and the best in his carseat.  Kash and Cruz both get up on their knees like they are trying to crawl.  I swear they are going to crawl before they can even sit up.  Crazy kids.  Kash learned how to roll from back to belly so he's all over the place now.  He is such a joy.

::JULIE::
Weight - 18 lb 4 oz
Clothes - 6 months, 6-9 months and some 9 months
Diapers - Size 3
Julie is still as happy as can be.  She is by far the easiest baby right now.  They go through their own phases.  The first thee months she was definitely the hardest.  Kash used to be the easiest, but Julie passed him up.  She's patient and can wait to be fed, which usually results in her being fed last every feeding.  She still sucks her thumb and is obsessed with having a blanket near by.  She pulls it close to her face and sucks her thumb.  It's oh so cute.  She loves to be held and look around, but she is also very content laying on the floor with a toy or even just a blanket.  She can roll around to get what she wants.  Julie loves to feel everything.  She's going to be one that loves the tags on blankets or anything silky smooth.  She is so much more dainty than the boys.  I love her squishiness and luscious leg rolls.   Yum.
