So...Curtis has been on this workout kick lately. He says he wants to start eating healthy too. Wow...that is definitely a first. In all 4 1/2 years of being together (married 3 1/2) I have never heard those words come out of his mouth. I asked him what he meant by eating healthy...and he said, "When I think of eating healthy, I think of eating Hamburger Stroganoff or Hamburger Helper." haha...
Maybe I'm crazy...but when I think of eating healthy...the last thing that comes to mind is Hamburger Stroganoff. I googled it and for one serving it has 816 calories and 55.6 grams of fat (which is 85% of your daily value). I asked him, "What about fruits and vegetables?" And he said, "That stuff doesn't taste good. I'll just supplement with a Muscle Milk Shake and take a multivitamin." He's hilarious.
Today in class (Pathophysiology) we learned what pizza does to the fat (lipid) serum level in your blood. It was pretty disgusting! It turns your serum from a light-yellow-clear-liquid to a cloudy-yellow-opaque-liquid. Kinda gross. I came home from class and had this for dinner...
haha...
Oh...and some of these treats...while Curtis and I tried to watched New Moon...and I read more pages out of my Pathophysiology book....
We bought a new entertainment center! Yay! Curtis is one of the best deal makers I have ever met. This entertainment center was already on clearance...then Curtis talked them down even lower...and got money off the delivery charge (since we all know what happened last time Curtis tried to pick up something---couches---from the store himself) haha...
It needs a few decorations...and an area rug...but we love it! :)
Chaminade University played Dixie State Saturday night, so Curtis and I took a quick trip to St. George to watch Chandler play...and of course see Lieren too! :) We left Saturday afternoon and drove back Sunday morning before church! Even though they lost, it was a good game. Chandler played great with 7 rebounds and 8 points. We had dinner over at Mary's after the game...then stayed up way too late talking and playing Rockband haha! It was a lot of fun to see my cousins and Chandler's family. Thanks Sierra for letting us stay at your house! :)
Curtis and I spent New Year's Eve with my parents. We went up to Kellen Fowler's house in Kaysville for a little party. It was a lot of fun! They have a pond in their backyard that froze over, so everyone went ice skating on it. My parents made a lot of connections with different people at the party who knew some of their friends from Hollister. It's crazy what a small world it really is. :)
Then on New Year's Day we all went to dinner...then bowling...and finally played card games :) My dad killed us all (John was a close 2nd place) haha... I wish ALL my family lived closer together! :) I always have a great time with them around!
